API migration from legacy Connectivity Management Platforms

We may have reached out to you recently with important information about our plans to discontinue the Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) that you have been using.

We recognize that change can be disruptive – but by migrating you to our newer products, you will be leveraging a modernized architecture, benefiting from improved overall reliability and greater investment in new features and coverage.

Following the transition from your current CMP to ConnectivityPro, KORE will be shutting down the legacy APIs. As a result, API users are required to migrate their existing integrations to the new ConnectivityPro APIs.

Please note that all of your SIMs will continue to function as normal, pre and post migration, and there will be no impact to your connections or network traffic during the migration process.

Getting ready to move

The KORE Developer Portal will allow you to view and work with our new APIs. Anyone can view general information about the Portal and APIs, but you’ll need to have a login to use them.

Access to the Developer Portal APIs are by invite only. Please submit a request via [email protected]. Please outline the following when completing your request, so that we can get you up and running as quickly as possible:

  • Subject: Developer portal access for legacy CMP migration
  • Your name and email contact
  • Company name
  • CMP that you are currently using

Getting started

Using industry best practices, you will have access to modernized RESTful APIs that provide you access to your SIMs to perform common actions like returning SIMs or usage.

To get started, you’ll need to set up a client and API key. More information on these processes can be found here.

For the APIs driving ConnectivityPro, please refer to this page.
